Calvary Christian School is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church and was born out of a desire that God placed on the church members’ hearts to provide a quality Christian education opportunity in our area. A ground breaking ceremony was held in March 1982 to build a gym and education space to help house the school. As the school grew a second ground breaking ceremony was held in July 1991 to provide a much needed education wing which added eleven classrooms and school office space. Today, with the need to provide multiple classrooms per grade along with specialty space for library, music, art and computer classes, we find a need to again build additional space to house our school and provide for continued growth.

Calvary Christian School has grown by 10% or more six of the last seven years. We believe this is due to God’s blessings and our commitment in the following areas: 1) The use of a complete Christian curriculum presenting all subjects from a Biblical perspective, including teaching the Bible as a separate subject; 2) The hiring of Christian certified school teachers who desire to use their God-given teaching skills to provide a quality education and moral foundation for their students;  3) Smaller class sizes with a maximum of 20 students per class – smaller for preschool and kindergarten; and 4) Maintaining standards of academic performance and Christ-like character throughout our school.

Calvary Christian School looks forward to what God will allow us to accomplish in the future. Please join us in prayer as we seek this additional space for His honor and glory.
